Did I mention I love doilies? Maybe just a couple times? Well, if you read this blog at all, it should be no surprise to you that I made another doily project for Christmas. 🙂
This one was cute and very very simple and found on Pinterest (where else!?).
Here was the Pinterest inspiration:
I just cut up the two different sizes I had left over from the wreath and the name tags and sewed them one after another onto a thin white ribbon.
I hung it up across the big front living room window, behind the Christmas tree. After I took down the “Give Thanks” banner, it looked so bare up there!
I love quick and simple projects that turn out so cute! Kinda like little snowflakes. 🙂
I didn’t go “all out” for Christmas decorating this year. Other than these few pinterest challenges, I haven’t put out too much of my Christmas decor (and really didn’t even take down my fall decor! eek.). I did put out a few things though, like my apothecary jar of mini glass ornaments:
A couple star boxes and some scented pinecones:
And of course, our stockings that I made last year:
My sister in law, Shannon, always buys us really cool ornaments every year. Since I like my tree to have the same ornaments on it, I don’t put them on the tree – but they’re so cute that I want to display them somewhere! So, this was a good idea I had this year – putting them on top of each stocking holder!
I love Christmas. I’m going to be so sad when I take all my decorations down. Am I the only one who feels like her house is all the sudden naked and empty once the tree and decor is taken down??
I’m dreading it already.
