Well, I wasn’t going to post about this because there isn’t much to it, but when my friend Jamie asked after I posted a picture via Instagram (you can follow me here) on Facebook last night, I figured I might as well share the wealth. 😉
I had seen this picture on Pinterest:
… and I knew it had to be done in this house!
I didn’t even click on the picture to go to the linked website, I just went for it.
This is how it went down in my house:
I used tooth picks to hold the bacon around the asparagus.
I drizzled soy sauce over the bacon after they were all wrapped and lined on the baking sheet.
Then I sprinkled sesame seeds on top.
Threw them in the oven for about 20 min at 350.
Removed the toothpicks.
This is my Instagram pic. I wasn’t planning on posting this, so I didn’t take any “pretty” pictures of it. 🙂
These were so good! I don’t usually like asparagus because I can’t handle the slimy texture, but something about baking them makes them a little more crunchy and bearable! I felt like this was cheating a little bit because it was so good that I hardly even tasted the asparagus. 🙂
There you go, Jamie!
Hope you’re happy! 😉
