When You Can’t Sleep.

Well, I’ve been awake again since just before 4 am (after going to sleep around 12:30) and I have finally accepted that I will not be falling asleep any time soon and have resigned to blogging.
It’s what all good bloggers do, right?
Because I’m sure the best content I’ve ever written will come out of me when I have only slept about 3 hours.
This is gonna be a long day.
So, I’m going to keep my words at a minimum to spare you all the awful grammatical errors that come out when blogging at 5 am.  Like how I wrote “ridden” instead of “written”.   On second thought, that could be a really amusing post for you all to try to decipher if I went ahead and carried on and on… πŸ™‚

But I won’t.
Instead, I’ll show you some photo’s to try to distract you.
My mom made us take family photo’s today (even though my brother and sister in law aren’t around and weren’t included.).  We’re calling these the “Oregon Family Photo’s” and therefore, we do not feel as bad about only having half of a family in these portraits.
Of course, we went to the classy Sears to have them done.
Where else?
The one cool thing that they have started doing since about 5 years ago when we last went, is that they offer your photo’s on a cd for you to have full rights to and can make your own prints at places like Costco for say .49 cents for a 5×7 instead of $10 for a sheet of two.
This also means I have these photo’s now which I can share with you, where otherwise I would not have been able to do… so I will give them credit for adjusting with the times and the million emerging photographers that are competing for their business!  I’m still never impressed with portrait studios like this and would much rather hire one of my friends to take our photo’s, like Nancy of Nancy Alene Photography,  Katie of  Katie Shroy Photography or Tara of Sela Photography (though I’m fairly certain I’m too lazy to ever actually coordinate that).  There were a couple ones that turned out pretty good for studio photo’s which I will be able to use for Christmas cards (bonus!).
Anyway, I’m talking more than I should.
I’m done now. πŸ™‚
Here are the photos:
The lighting is terrible on this one on Sky’s face and I really feel like I look like a turtle, but I just loved Zeek riding daddy like a horsey, so I had to include it. πŸ™‚

Family Christmas card photo!!
Hey, at least it will be way better than last year’s picture

Ok.  Time for me to at least lay back down until the boy wakes up in another hour or so.  πŸ™‚
Good night, good morning, and happy Saturday to you.
