Hugging Goats

Happy Monday!

We just had a fun filled weekend and packed weekend.  Such a great time, but thankful to be home now with the laundry going, dishwasher going and having a quiet morning at our house. 🙂  I love going out, having adventures, spending time with people, but I am a total home-body by nature and do love just being in the comfort of my home.

Our fun started on Thursday when I took Zeek to Bauman Farm.  They were getting geared up for their grand opening of their fall harvest fun (which started Saturday) so we got to visit while the farm was set up for loads of visitors, without all of the visitors.  🙂  It was a nice quiet morning there and we enjoyed the usual farm animal petting and playground playing!

Here are just a few pictures from our latest visit there.  (We will be going back soon now that the fall harvest is open!  Hay rides, pumpkins, apple cider, corn maze, hay bale maze, slides, etc.  Yep.  Zeek will love it this year.)

I think our time spent in Texas with Mabel the dog was good for Zeek.  The last couple times we came to Bauman, he didn’t want to get close to the animals and definitely didn’t want to feed them out of his hand.  All of that is behind him now and he was thrilled to see the animals, feed them, and yes, even snuggle them and smother them with hugs!  It was the cutest thing ever.  🙂

Soon we should have some harvest fun photo’s to share!  Can’t wait to take him there for all the festivities since he’s now walking running!  He’ll have so much more fun than last year just sitting in the stroller. 🙂

Love,
K
