Ok, here’s the second page of the Quiet Book that I’m making! (You can see the first page I did here, if you missed it.). Like I said, I wanted to get some of the tougher pages done first so that the last pages would be easiest and take the least amount of time. 🙂
This one was really fun to make and went fairly quickly with using this template from the Serving Pink Lemonade blog. Her’s was about street signs, but I had bought this cute little wooden school bus from Jo-Ann’s and wanted to incorporate that instead so I opted with going with a school theme… School bus parked in a parking garage, a house to pick up kids in, and the school to drop them off on the bus’s way back to the garage. 😉
I used some clear plastic table cloth material from Jo-Ann’s for the school bus garage because I wanted the bus to be visible. I used a Sharpie Paint Pen to write “School”.
I have a few more of the wooden cars/boats that I’d like to find a way to use in his book too, so I’m brainstorming a couple pages for those too. 🙂
I love having two of the “difficult” pages done! (And by difficult, I really mean just more time consuming….)
